100 мегабайт - значение по умолчанию, максимальный размер 1 гигабайт, при создании поля нужно указать 1G

Для полноты информации добавлю, что в метасхеме это значение хранится в _Field._fld-Misc2[1].

Теперь уткнулись в низкую скорость при копировании BLOB из temp-table.
380 Mb копируются 60-70 секунд. Можно как-то ускорить процесс? Поделитесь опытом!

Тип области хранения для LOB-какой? Это отдельная области? SAT-II? Опять же, как происходит копирование? Какой тип клиента self-service/ remote?

Сделай веб-сервис (там где Appserver), который кладет файлы и вызывай его отовсюду.
