В современном мире, не то что наличие сертификата, но и наличие диплома зачастую не гарантирует наличие знаний.

Я с прогрессом работаю довольно давно, сертификации не имею никакой.
По Ораклу имею среднюю сертификацию Oracle OCA, ну и немного разбираюсь в нем.
А по MS SQL имею полный Microsoft Certified Professional, получил по случаю на курсах, но положа руку на сердце почти ничего не знаю в SQL Server.

К нам на работу регулятно приходят люди с сертификатами но без знаний, и со знаниями но без сертификатов. Легко догадаться на кого приходится выбор. Тем не менее для Head Hunters сертификаты продолжают играть роль.
